Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara (Rs 1650) available at Clinique Stores

I love Mascaras associated with words like – Volume, Lengthening, Extreme Volume , and I start thinking about glamorous long lashes. However sometimes It breaks my heart when I spend 1600 on a mascara and it just doesn’t work ! I have tried Clinic High Impact Mascara and loved it and only on the recommendation of the sales executive I decided to pick this one up.

Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara comes in a nice silver tube. I liked the wand and thought it would be perfect for lengthening. The moment I pulled out the wand out of the tube, I noticed way too much product on it. either there is no mechanism inside the tube or scrapper doesn’t work, because it happens all the time. I get irritated because too much product on the wand will lead to clumpy lashes.

This mascara does add volume and length , but in second coat my lashes unwillingly transform into spidery clumpy lashes. First of all the formula is too wet, and takes time to dry. Waiting time between coats is too much, because getting rid of excess product off the wand takes a lot of time and by the time the wand is ready , formula starts clumping my lashes.

Overall Thoughts

As much as Clinique High Impact Mascara impressed me, Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara disappointed to the core. Excess product on the wand, and the amount of time I have to spend scraping it off  is really annoying. Also the formula is quite wet and takes time to dry between coats. Formula does add some length & volume however the clumping takes over and spoils the mood. I was expecting it to work as per its claims, but unfortunately I avoid using it.
