Clarins Souffle de Teint Peach Oil Free Makeup ($13.99 for 30 ml)Clarins Claims: The number is 05 and the colour is “Peach”. A subtle make-up that boosts a smooth, luminous complexion. Offers stay-true color with a transparent finish. Glides on skin evenly with no effort.Reduces appearance of fine lines & imperfections.Protects skin against day-time aggressors.Leaves you a natural, fresh look.
Packaging: The packaging of Clarins Souffle de Teint is done simply –a flat white tube with a nozzle-like top covered with a red cap which contains the product. You have to apply a bit of pressure to get the desired amount on your hand, and then apply it as you want it.
Product: I bought this product to generally use as a foundation for the face – however, it is slightly too red for me, so I use it on areas which are too yellow on my skin – like right under my cheekbones, and also my jaw line. On some days, I also mix this with a bit of moisturizer to give an allover even skin tone without looking obviously made up.
Application: Clarins Souffle de Teint is oil-free, it is not very moisturizing. But the texture is quite runny so I can use it pretty easily on my skin. It does not highlight dry patches, and gives a nice, dewy effect when applied. I like this especially now because it is more hydrating than the other foundations. As it is oil-free, it does not make my skin look greasy.Staying Power – Clarins Souffle de Teint stays on my skin easily for 4-5 hours, which is a slight con for those who want longer lasting makeup, but yes, in summer it does make skin look oily, so I did not use it much then. But I am using it now and am happy with the results.
What I like
- Good packaging
- Easy to use
- Oil-free
Dislikes
- Lasting power is low
Overall Thoughts
Now that November is here, and my skin has gone dry, Clarins Souffle de Teint is a great product to make my skin look naturally glowing. And the fact that it is oil-free helps – I mix it with an oil-free moisturizer, and the result is good on my skin.
Overall Thoughts – 4/5
