Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua range is for dry skin. Vitalumiere Aqua makeup comes both in Liquid and compact form. Compact provides little more coverage than liquid, but due to light texture of Liquid makeup I decided to go with this.
Shade – I was matched to Shade 44 Beige Ambre. What I observed is the shade has neutral undertones, that means its neither pink nor yellow. At first I thought it would look light on me , but once blended the shade matched my skin tone perfectly. I was glad to see that it doesn’t look either ashy or orange on me. 
Texture & Formula – Foundation is quite runny. It spreads and blends like a dream. I find the formula similar to MAC Face & Body Foundation though less sticky and with a better coverage. It gives a healthy glowy finish, which doesn’t look greasy or shiny whatsoever. Though during summers I prefer to look matte so I dab a light weight powder like MAC mineralize skin finish over it. Applying a moisturizer before foundation is always recommended, but with this foundation I skip that step completely. It provides the desired moisture and doesn’t highlight dry/ flaky skin.
Coverage – Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation provides light to medium coverage. You can layer it up without looking ashy or cakey. 
Packaging – I expect a fancier packaging when its “Chanel”, but Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation comes in a squeeze bottle with a nozzle. Though this is what makes it travel friendly, its light and rules out all chances of breakage.

I have always found MAC foundations looking a little more than required Yellow on me. Rest Bourjois Healthy Mix and Inglot ones are more on pink side.
Staying Power – Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation stays on me for good 7+ hours.
I have used a pea size amount on my face below. I haven’t used any concealer.

Overall Thoughts
If you are looking for a light weight, super blendable makeup, Try Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation. It gives the most natural looking finish without looking ashy or cakey. Coverage is light to medium though buildable. This formula is perfect for dry skin as it doesn’t highlight dry patches or wrinkles. Though girls who are looking to cover up blemishes might be disappointed. I am really loving this foundation these days.

Hey Veda It totally depends on what you are looking for. I don’t look out for heavy coverage/ formulas so for me its good. I haven’t tried anything from Shiseido but Its on my list 🙂

I just got my Nars Sheer Glow foundation and it is the best foundation I have ever tried! Next is Chanel on my lust list! It looks gorgeous on you! I feel high end foundations though being expensive some are definitely worth it!
