My heart broke the moment I finished up my YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Concealer Pen and started looking around for a similar product. I tried Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer but as always even the darkest shade was way too light for me. So In the end I decided to pick Chambor Radiant Touch Up Concealer which is quite an expensive drugstore option.
If you ask me about my top makeup must haves then I will scream concealer without wasting even a second. I LOVE concealers and have got quite a number of them. I hardly get time to apply foundation etc while going out because of the two reasons – 1. I don’t get time, 2. I don’t like too much going on my face all the time. So a good concealer and compact powder is all I use on everyday basis.
Packaging – A blue pen style , with a click mechanism, a button on the bottom has to be pressed to get product from the brush tip applicator. Almost similar to YSL Concealer.
Shade – I picked 03 which is the darkest and yellow toned option available. The shade was a good match for me, a tone lighter maybe. But it doesn’t look ashy or grey under the eyes and brightens up the area without much effort. Thats what I like the most about the product.
Texture & Formula – I used to love this concealer for quick application during summers, its so convenient that you can use it during travelling or on the go. Blending is easy breezy, but during winters it gets stiff and hard to work with. The eye area has to be well moisturized for it to glide and blend, otherwise it crumbles up and rolls while you try to blend it. It turns patchy and doesn’t look appealing. So buy it during summers if you have dry skin like mine.
Coverage – Chambor Radiant Touch Up Concealer offers light to medium coverage. Its more of a brightening under eye concealer than a spot concealer.
Chambor Radiant Touch Up Concealer 03 (Rs 825) available Online
Overall Thoughts
I like the color match and coverage/ brightening abilities of Chambor Radiant Touch Up Concealer . Only and biggest downside is the texture which is quite dry, and if you use it without properly moisturizing the under eye area, it will turn patchy and dry, emphasising fine lines.
