Chambor Orange Plus Moisture Plus Lipstick (Rs 645 for 4.5 g)Being a coral lover, I am always on a lookout for oranges, peaches. When I saw this shade at Chambor counter, I really liked it and the fact that it has a moisturising formula and at the core of the lipstick has a lip balm.

Shade – Orange plus is a gorgeous orange with a hint of red in it which makes it very refreshing and adds brightness to the face. It is creamy, glossy and sans any shimmer or sheen.

Packaging – The packaging is quite dull having a silver matte finished outer cover. The lipstick name and number is provided at the bottom. Although it is dull and boring, but the packaging is very sturdy and travel friendly.Texture & Formula – Chambor moisture plus lipstick offers an amazingly hydrating formula. It is very smooth and keeps the lips baby soft. The lipstick glides on easily on lips.

The finish is glossy as it has a lip balm in the central core which keeps the lips moistened. This range is perfect for those having dry and chapped lips. It doesn’t settle in the lip lines.

Pigmentation – Orange plus provides sheer coverage in one swipe. It looks like a tangerine shade on one swipe which can be built up to full coverage in 3-4 swipes. However, it doesn’t bleed on over application. 

Staying Power – Chambor Orange Plus Moisture Plus Lipstick stays for a span of 3- 3 ½ hours after which it fades. It fades evenly leaving a very faint peachy tint that gives a natural look. The staying power is low due to presence of a lip balm in the formula.

Overall Thoughts

I have always been impressed by Chambor formulas but they never came up with many shades options than nudes, browns and reds. This range is a refreshing change and the fact that it is very moisturising makes it all the more wanted.

I love the creamy and smooth texture. It is light weight and keeps the lips hydrated which is a big boon for those having dry lips.

The packaging is slightly dull and Orange plus offers low staying power as it has a lip balm in the core.But the shade is such that it will suit all skin tones. Chambor Orange Plus Moisture Plus Lipstick is a great shade for those who wanted to try wearable shade of Orange without going overboard.
