Calvin Klein Obsession is a very famous fragrance with the ladies and gents alike. There are different versions for both genders of course. Calvin Klein Obsession had long come to India and by now they are available in many websites. I have purchased it an year ago when it was only available in Amazon. The price of this perfume varies a lot, but I had purchased the 50ml bottle at around 1600 INR, in order to gift my cousin sister. I borrowed later for few trials so that I can review it for you all. So let us get into the review without further ado.
Packaging – It comes in a pretty oval shaped bottle with the cap completing the tip of the oval. It’s clear glass, with golden brown fluid inside it. The cap is brown in colour and does not shut tightly. The whole thing comes in an off white cardboard box which is not very sturdy. It is disappointing when such a loved and expensive perfume comes in a flimsy packaging.
Fragrance – Calvin Klein Obsession for Women EDT is an oriental Spicy fragrance for women. Obsession was launched in 1985. Top notes are green notes, mandarin orange, vanilla, peach, basil, bergamot and lemon; middle notes are spices, coriander, sandalwood, orange blossom, jasmine, oak-moss, cedar and rose; base notes are amber, musk, civet, vanilla, vetiver and incense. I love how the fluid is goldenish red that turns absolutely magnificent when the sunlight hits the bottle.
Staying Power– The nose behind this fragrance is Jean Guichard. This perfume lasts a long time and unlike other women perfumes, this is strong and the silage is pretty impressive. Since the note is spicy, it does not fade or become less prominent throughout the day. It is very feminine, very notable and keeps bad odour at bay completely! Trust me, Indian weather needs perfume like this; because when you wear it, it just gets absorbed into you, and you would be left smelling good all day.

I’m glad my cousin liked my gift and you would too. The sweet yet sensuous smell of Calvin Klein Obsession EDT is inviting and is sure to make you fall in love with it. Please go ahead and get one for yourself if you want a long staying, spicy and sexy perfume.
