Burgundy Red Highlights Ft F Salon GK 2 , Review & Experiential

I never considered myself much of a fashionista or experimental with my looks and gave hair highlights a chance only in late 2012. I experimented a couple of times with the color and realised that Burgundy Red highlights suit me the best. I always get loads of compliments as it goes really well with my natural color of hair i.e. dark brown. It was almost a year since I did experiment with my hair last and thought of getting the highlights again. This time I chose F Salon which is a part of FTV – Fashion TV, the global multimedia network leader in fashion and lifestyle content.

F Salon is currently present at two locations in Delhi – Rajouri Garden & GK 2. GK one is quite near to my place and I paid a visit there. The salon is easy to locate. I liked the whole interior dcor. The LCD’s on the wall that have excerpts from Fashion shows playing on the loop. It gave the whole salon a global & edgy feel.

The staff was quite welcoming. I met the Senior Stylist – Raja who suggested me shade of highlights to go for. I am not into blonde so decided to play safe and went for Burgundy red highlights. He explained me the whole process and the time it will take to develop the color etc. We started with washing hair with shampoo, followed by blow dry. I chose full head highlights which takes much longer than getting highlights done only on the crown. It took about 1 hour in applying the color, which was L’Oreal INOA.

The color however took almost 2 hours to develop, since I didn’t want it to be bold stark red, he washed it off and blow dried hair. Hair looked shiny & soft to touch. I am so in love with the highlights and have already received numerous compliments from friends & family on Burgundy Red Highlights 🙂

After that I had to wait for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the color develops, because I didn’t get my strands bleached and on natural hair the color takes a lot longer to develop. To utilise the spare time I had at hand, I decided to indulge into a pampering manicure-pedicure session. The staff arranged it quite quickly and I enjoyed the session thoroughly.

The Salon is spread over two levels with salon on the first floor & spa on the second. They have world class brands & facilities available which impressed me. Brands they use are best in the category like Thalgo , dermalogica etc . Prices are quite competitive and if you are looking at indulging in services that are best in the class then do try out F Salon.
