Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer (Rs 530 for 10 ml) available at SlassyI am an ardent fan of Bourjois makeup bases and this concealer compliments the foundation and compact giving a flawless look. It claims to smooth away dark circles and imperfections for a visibly rested and radiant look. The presence of fruit ingredients in this range is all the more alluring.

Shade – I chose shade 52 for my under eye area concealing. I use shade 53 in foundation and this is a shade lighter but it luminosity and brightens up my under eye area. The darker shade was making my eyes appear slight ashy. This shade has yellow undertones and blends well into the skin giving a flawless look.Packaging – It comes in a little elongated tube which has a nozzle dispenser. The dispenser helps in controlling the amount of product needed. However, the tip has to be cleaned with a Q-tip as it dries up very fast and settles at the mouth of the tube.

Texture & Formula – The texture of Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer is quite thick being a liquid concealer. It dries to a matte finish. The concealer is easy to blend but it dries up very quickly so it has to be spread in a jiffy. The formula is not very hydrating but feels comfortable under the eyes and doesn’t accentuate the fine lines.

Coverage/Pigmentation- It would call it a medium to full coverage concealer. One layer covers minor acnes, redness, light unevenness and minor dark circles and 2 layers can achieve full coverage. For full coverage, I blend the concealer in the first layer and pat the 2 layer blending out the edges. It covers my pigmentation at the side locks very well. Staying Power- It comfortably stays for about 7-8 hours giving fresh look and matte finish. The best part is that it doesn’t give a grey –cast or ashy look to face and undereye area.My eyes definitely look bright.

Ease of Application – Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer applies well with all techniques ie. Concealer brush/sponge but the best finish comes out when blended with fingers. It has to be applied quickly as it settles very fast.

This is a highly recommended Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer if you are looking for a liquid consistency , light weight medium to full coverage concealer. The staying power is great and it instantly brightens up the under eye area. Also, it covers up skin unevenness, blemishes quite well.

It is decently priced and offers great quality. It never irritated my skin or break me out. Also, the claims of having fruit ingredients is an advantage over other concealers.
