Bourjois Orange Punch Colour Boost Lip Crayon (Rs 785 for 2.75 gm ) available at Bourjois counters.I am all for these chubby crayon packaging these days. They are super easy to use and very moisturising. Bourjois has introduced 4 shades in this range. You can see review of Red Sunrise from this range HERE.

Shade – Orange Punch is a very glossy warm tones orange-coral shade. It is sans any shimmer and provides ‘wet look’ to lips.

Packaging – The packaging is similar to Clinique chubby sticks and Revlon just bitten Balm Stains,  just that these are more vibrant and neon. These are essentially chubby crayons having twist up mechanism. The shade is provided on the cap, a white sticker is placed.Texture & Formula – The texture of these color boost lip crayon is very balmy. It feels very light weight and the formula is very hydrating. It is non-sticky and doesn’t settle in the lip lines .Also, as per the Brand’s claim, it is water proof and has spf 15.

It leaves the lips soft and supple!!

Pigmentation – Since they are more balm-like, the color payoff is not very high but buildable to full coverage with multiple swipes. It can be used sheerly as a tint or applied as a full shade. 3-4 swipes helps in covering lip pigmentation. Also, it gives ‘wet look’ to lips making them appear more healthy and glossy.

Staying Power – The 10 hr claims are too high. It stays maximum for about 3-4 hours with a light meal included. The darker shades does leave a slight tint behind but this shade doesn’t.

Overall Thoughts

I am happy to have Bourjois Orange Punch Colour Boost Lip Crayon . The shade is a stunner and so is the overall formula. Although, it has less staying power, I love to apply the color boosts are they are very hydrating and moisturising. The formula is great for those having dry lips.

Bourjois Orange punch is a gorgeous juicy orange- coral shade that will suit all skin tones. It is sans any sheen and the finish is very glossy giving healthy look to lips.

It can be applied sheerly or a full coverage shade depending upon the needs. It has spf 15 and it is water proof. Also, it is completely fragrance free making is wearable for those having sensitive noses. The packaging is sturdy and easy to use. However, I find them a bit pricey. I highly recommend trying these.
