Bourjois Eye Pearls Quintet Eyeshadow Palette (Rs 865 for 2.6 gm) can be purchased from Bourjois Counters.Bourjois Paris Eye Pearls Quintet Eyeshadow contains five pearly, shimmery, satiny shades that you can mix and match to create various looks!
Shades-Revelation has green and khaki hues.
- The first shade is illuminator – a frost shimmery silver to brighten up the eyes when applied under the brow or to the inner corner of the eye
- The second shade is satin taupe grey.
- The third shade is matte deep grey.
- The fourth is shimmery khaki green. It has mild golden shimmer.
- The fifth shade is satin taupe for blending out the darker and the lighter shades.
Packaging – The eye shadow has round plastic casing. It has that typical Bourjois press button locking system. Within it has 5 tiny eye shadows embedded. No eye shadow applicator is provided. The shade name is provided at the back. It is travel friendly.
Texture & Formula – The texture of Bourjois Eye Pearls Quintet Eyeshadow Palette is smooth but not very creamy. They need to be swiped a lot as the formula is dry. They don’t have any fallout but all have different finishes. They do apply easily and don’t crumble. Also, they blend well and get intensified when used wet.
Pigmentation – Out of the 5 shades, the first shades i.e. Highlighting shades is highly pigmented. All others need at least 2-3 swipes to show up.
Staying Power – Bourjois Eye Pearls Quintet Eyeshadow Palette stays for about 6-7 hours on lids over a proper primer.I have never felt creasing or fading when used over a colored base.
I like the idea of including 5 shades but the quantity is really less. Also, the shades aren’t highly pigmented and smooth. I so wish Bourjois included a golden shimmery shade in the palette so get more option for creating looks. All the shades in this pallete bring out smoky look only.
The texture of Bourjois Eye Pearls Quintet Eyeshadow Palette is slightly dry and feels gritty on over application. The shades can be intensified when used wet. However, the quality of the eyeshadow is quite disappointing for the price it comes at.
This is one product from Bourjois that has really disappointed me. I would prefer buying 4 mono eye shadows instead. I still suggest checking out other shades available in this range.
