Two weeks ago I attended the launch of The Body Shop Flawless Tea Tree BB Cream. It was a fun event with gloves as props given with the samples, they symbolized fight against acne and blemishes. Tea Tree BB Cream is available in 3 shades. I picked the darkest one even though it was too dark for me, since No 2 looked slightly ashy. The Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream Review Swatches Photos (2)I mix it with L’Oreal Nude Magic Foundation and the combo works fantastically for me.

Coverage – Tea Tree BB Cream provides sheer coverage. It evens out skintone however it claims to provide flawless coverage which I couldn’t agree to. Also shade 02 seems to work for most of the people, it appeared slightly ashy on pigmented areas of my face i.e. around mouth & forehead. I decided to pick the darkest shade so that it could be mixed with a lighter shade to get my perfect match.

Texture & Formula – I take pea size amount of Tea Tree BB Cream and it evens out my complexion. It feels quite moisturizing and slightly sticky if one applies more than required. However it has never broken me out because of the presence of Tea Tree oil in it. It smells like tea tree oil too. I have dry skin and it keeps it moisturized throughout the day. I can’t tell you whether it keeps oily skin matte or not since I find it quite moisturizing and finish is not entirely matte. The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream Review Swatches PhotosThat’s how The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream looks on me when mixed with a lighter shade. I like it for daily use, girls who need minimum coverage would love it. Finish is natural and can be perfect for working girls.

Overall Thoughts

Finally we have a BB Cream that has goodness of Tea Tree oil and can help you fight acne while covering the blemishes a bit. I would really have liked more shades and little more coverage since The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream is specially formulated for blemished skin.

While shade 02 was perfect for me, I would have preferred slightly more coverage. The texture is really nice though.
Btw, which lipstick are you wearing in that pic? It’s lovely.
