The Body Shop is known for their amazing bath & body care products and recent addition to their range is Spa Of The World collection. There are 3 rituals under this collection – Relaxing, Revitalizing & Blissful. I have Relaxing Ritual that has 5 products/ steps. I have been testing out The Body Shop Spa Of The World Relaxing Ritual for over 3 weeks now and sharing my thoughts with you.

The Body Shop Spa Of The World Relaxing Ritual is for de-stressing and unwinding. There are 5 steps involved –

African Ximenia Scrub (Rs 2395 for 350 ml)

The scrub comes in a huge 350 ml jar and smells so good ! I cant keep my finger on as to what the scent exactly is, but it has a mix of nutty & floral scents. It is amazing and so relaxing ! Now coming to the texture, the scrub is creamy and has small granules that exfoliate the dead skin and dissolve after couple of minutes when you keep massaging it. I have dry skin and on body it gets drier, flaky & patchy.

This scrub not only exfoliates but also moisturizes. Skin feels super smooth & nourished after each use. I mix it with some water to make the consistency slightly workable, or use it on damp skin. One of my favorite products in this range !

Next step is Himalayan Charcoal Body Clay which is great for drawing out impurities. I really love the texture and consistency of this clay mask, it is not stiff like regular clay based products. It spreads and washes off quickly. Skin looks and feel clean and fresh. It doesn’t leave it dry and parched, in fact I can see my skin feeling much more softer after every use.

It’s another step which is good for those who want to have a milk bath, however this product is plant based. I take 2-3 spoon full of this milk bath, dilute is with some water and use it as a body wash. If you have bath tub, this would be an excellent soak. It feels like real milk and has similar nourishing properties. Skin feels so smooth & moisturized after every use. I also love its scent, it has such a luxurious scent ! almost like an expensive spa session haha

Another favorite from the range, Japanese Camellia Cream smells so good ! And the texture is superb, bouncy & light. It moisturizes without being sticky or greasy. The fragrance lingers on for a long time and skin feels supple and smooth. It applies and absorbs into the skin immediately, however to keep my skin moisturised I have to use it twice during the day.

The Body Shop Spa Of The World Relaxing Ritual -French Lavender Massage Oil (Rs 1695 for 170ml)

Finish off the ritual with few drops of Lavender Massage oil on your pulse point. Lavender is known for its calming properties. I love the dry texture of this oil and how it doesn’t leave stickyness behind. It is excellent for layering and keeping skin moisturised for a long time.
