Drops Of Light Pure Clarifying Foam Wash (Rs 1525 for 125 ml)

The Body Shop Drops Of Light Pure Clarifying Foam Wash Review

Cleanse and clarify your complexion morning and night with this rich, creamy foam wash. Massage gently into a luxurious lather that puri es without stripping the skin.

The foam wash comes in a wide tube with a flip top cap. Pretty basic yet effective packaging that is travel friendly as well. The cleanser has a nice mild scent and a pearly fluffy texture. I take a pea size amount and massage it gently on face & neck.

It lathers up pretty well and makes skin squeaky clean. It takes off dirt & grime but my dry skin feels stretchy after using it. I avoid using it more than once because it kind of strips off moisture. This face wash would be good for oily skin though.

Drops Of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Day Cream (Rs 2050 for 50 ml)

The Body Shop Drops Of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Day Cream Review

The Body Shop Drops Of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Day Cream Review

Nourish skin with this highly moisturising day cream. Its silky texture melts onto your skin and is clinically proven to signi cantly reduce the number, size and intensity of dark spots while delivering 24H hydration. Instantly skin texture is smoother, softer and re‐plumped with moisture. After 4 weeks skin is brighter, looks healthier, more even toned and clarified.

The cream comes in a heavy glass jar with a huge plastic screw cap. The cream is of white translucent texture. It almost feels like a gel-cream. The texture is water like and absorbs into the skin almost immediately. In a day cream I always prefer some level of sun protection especially when it has brightening properties.

I used it for almost 4 weeks and didn’t see much difference. Also I find it a bit too rich for my acne prone skin. I would love to use it again during winters since it is rich but not greasy. I like how my skin looks plumped and smooth after a week long use. Also since it doesn’t have spf you can use it as a night cream as well.

Drops Of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Serum (Rs 2450 for 30 ml)

The Body Shop Drops Of Light Pure Healthy Brightening Serum Review

Now coming to the most important product from this range. The Pure Healthy Brightening Serum comes in an opaque white heavy glass bottle with a dropper. I prefer droppers over pumps as you can control the amount of product you want to use each time. I used to take 2-3 drops of this serum and apply it all over face & neck in patting motions. The serum is translucent with a mild fragrance.

I find the brightening serum quite moisturising, during summers you can get away only with the serum. I follow up with a sunscreen during the day and a moisturising cream during night. I used it twice daily but didn’t see much change in my skin. It looked the same with blemishes and dullness still there. I used it continuously for 30 days but apart from moisture didn’t see it doing anything.

The Body Shop Drops Of Light Range is available Online as well as in stores
