The Body Shop Black Musk Range Review Photos Price

I really enjoy The Body Shop fragrances be it body mist or Perfumes. I have Love etc which is one of my favorite scents of all time. Earlier this month brand released Black Musk Range which is said to be a perfect balance of sweet & musk. I was quite interested in testing out the Body Shop Black Musk fragrance since it has notes that I prefer.

Black Musk Range has 3 products – Perfume Oil, Eau De Parfum, Eau De Toilette. All the products come in opaque black glass bottle. The cap shuts tightly and makes it perfect to travel with.

Notes –

Envelop yourself in luscious, mouth-watering notes of bambinella pear, spiked with pink pepper and bergamot accords to capture pure desire. Be captivated by delicately sensual heliotrope – an intoxicating scent that oscillates between marzipan and almond – intertwined with a stimulating aphrodisiac touch of the mysterious gourmand liquorice root accord. Then gradually be seduced by the deep and powerfully addictive trail of warm bewitching black vanilla, magnetic black musk, earthy patchouli and chocolate-like vetiver notes.

I really enjoy the Black Musk scent which is perfect blend of musky & sweet notes. I don’t prefer sweet scents so this one is perfect. It has a feminine touch and doesn’t smell masculine at all.

Perfume Oil is a product I was quite excited about. The oil comes with a glass tip which is perfect for oil application on the pulse points. The oil is quite concentrated and stays on for good 7+ hours on me. It is perfect for those who don’t like or alergic to alcohol based products.

Eau De Toilette stays on for good 5+ hours on me , fading afterwards.

Eau De Parfum stays on for good 7+ hours on me, fading but not completely disappearing. I can still smell it faintly on me.

Also the body shop Black Musk Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum contain Community Fair Trade organic alcohol crafted from sugar cane that is harvested by cooperatives in South America. In Cotopaxi, Ecuador, smallholder farmers re-plant the trees they use to heat this sugar. This helps them to grow their business while sustainably protecting the land.

Overall I am in love with The Body Shop Black Musk Range and would recommend it to all those who like a balanced but musky scents. I don’t find it intense or bothersome in any way. Packaging itself looks sensuous and mysterious !
