If you remember sometime back I wrote about Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Masterclass and launch of 2 new products, Smokey Eye Kajal & Mascara. I received a sample of the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara which lasted me good 10 usages. This is the first time I am reviewing a sample, but I though after using a product 10 times You get a fair idea as to how good the product is. About Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara

The Product –

I find the formula a bit wet but wand doesn’t come out with too much of product on it. Wand is dense and reminds me a bit of Maybelline Colossal Mascara, but slightly smaller and sleeker. While you try to coat your lashes with formula, it doesn’t gets sprinkled on your eyelids.

I have small lashes that demand a volumizing and lengthening formula to even show up. Wand of Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara separates and lengthens each lash. I love how this formula gives so much length and volume to my lashes. I generally go with single coat, as its enough for me for an everyday look, however for some added drama you can always add two coats.

Best part is that unlike some mascaras it doesn’t make my lashes stiff and heavy. I can’t feel the formula on my lashes at all. Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara keeps my lashes in good shape for more than 8+ hours. It doesn’t flake or smudge.

Formula of Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara is not waterproof , its water resistant. Easy to take off , but can be a mess for those who have watery eyes.

Overall Thoughts

I am in love with Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara. It provides length and adds volume to my lashes. It doesn’t make them stiff. Formula stays perfectly for more than 8 hours, this is the longest I have worn this mascara. However If you have straight lashes you should curl them with a lash curler before applying Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara since it doesn’t keep lashes curled for a long time. If you are looking for a long wearing , lengthening mascara do give Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara a try.
