Shade – Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Bronze contains 5 shimmery shades.They are as follows:

• A pale champagne gold shade which is apt for highlighting.
• A shimmery champagne pink.
• A coppery bronze shade.
• A gorgeous rose gold/peach gold.
• A true bronze apt for contouring.

When used together, a champagne bronze shade is created.

Packaging – Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Bronze is packed in a classy square compact casing having a glossy black body with BOBBI BROWN written. The shade name is provided at the back. It has a mirror on one side that is big enough for touch ups.Texture & Formula- This is a multi-purpose product.The shades can be used as blush, highlighter, bronzer,eyeshadow. The texture is smooth and all the shades are finely milled. They feel very soft. The shimmer present is very subtle although it is a bit too much but it doesn’t feel harsh or irritate the skin. It doesn’t clog pores. However, it does have a bit of fallout in the pan and when shades are used as eye shadow.

All the shades are highly pigmented and one has to be careful while using this as it can be easily overdone. This shimmer brick provides more of highlighted,shimmery finish than the shimmer brick Rose which provided more of frost finish.

The shimmer effect of this brick can be too much for those having oily skin so I suggest applying it very sparingly.

Pigmentation – All the shades are highly pigmented and one swipe provides more colour than needed.Staying Power – Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Bronze easily stays for about 8 hours without any fading.

Ease of Application – Although a swirl of blush brush over the pan will provide gorgeous shade, it can easily be overdone and can make the face look tanned. I, personally use the pale champagne gold shade as a highlighter for cheek bones and on the bridge of the nose, the 3 middle shades as blush and the last bronze shade for contouring. Depending upon the amount you use, you can easily create a soft focussed look or an intense look.

When used as eyeshadow, they have a lot of fallout any the shimmer content is too high that it doesn’t look very appealing so I mostly use the rose gold shade on the lids and the bronze shade in the crease and highlight my brow bone and inner corners of the eye with the champagne gold shade.

Overall Thoughts

I love Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Bronze and prefer it more over the Rose one as this has warmer tones that suit Indian skin tone more. All the shades are exceptionally stunning and highly pigmented. The formula is top notch. I highly recommend this shimmer brick to everybody!!

It can be too shimmery for those who don’t like use shimmer product but the overall effect it creates is class apart.
