I am a huge fan of Bobbi Brown foundations when it comes to exact color match. My shade is warm honey in Bobbi Brown foundations and that shades matches me perfectly ! You can’t tell that I am wearing foundation, no white or grey area on my face. I have previously tried Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Mineral Makeup & Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even finish compact foundation.

Whenever I hear “Long Wearing” makeup, I expect a product that might be drying and not suitable for dry skin like mine. Surprisingly Bobbi Brown Long-wear Even Finish Foundation has proven me wrong.

Shade – I was matched to “Warm Honey” in Bobbi Brown Long-wear Even Finish Foundation. Bobbi Brown foundation is not as yellow or orangey as MAC foundations are so it blends into the skin better and doesn’t look obvious. There are 20 shades available.

Texture & Formula – Bobbi Brown Long-wear Even Finish Foundation is neither thick nor runny. I use either ELF Studio Powder Brush or Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, Foundation spreads and blends easily. I need two pumps of this foundation for my whole face. Its very light weight and feels comfortable on skin. I was expecting it to highlight or cling on to dry patches, but even after wearing it for over 7 hours nothing of that sort happened. Finish of Bobbi Brown Long-wear Even Finish Foundation is not flat matte, but slightly satiny. I really like how it feels and stays on through out the day. I have worn it numerous times and it has performed really well. Bobbi Brown Long-wear Even Finish Foundation comes with SPF 15, it doesn’t leave a white cast when flash is used from a distance. It looks good in pictures. Formula doesn’t look cakey or dry.

Coverage – Bobbi Brown Long-wear Even Finish Foundation provides medium coverage. I haven’t tried to build it up since these days my skin is behaving well and doesn’t have any blemishes. But going by the fact that how light weight the formula is, I am sure layering wouldn’t be an issue.

Staying Power – True to its claims Bobbi Brown Long-wear Even Finish Foundation stays on for good 8+ hours. It doesn’t fade or get uneven/ patchy.

Overall Thoughts

I am very happy with my investment in Bobbi Brown Long-wear Even Finish Foundation. Its expensive but then Bobbi Brown falls in to High-end makeup category and that means all the products will be expensive. Foundation is worth each penny, formula is light weight, long staying and feels comfortable. It hasn’t broken me out or caused irritation. Only downside will be coverage, If you have lots of blemishes it might not hide them in one layer.
