Bobbi Brown Art Stick comes in 8 shades, you can see the Bobbi Brown Art Stick Swatches here. It comes in a wooden pencil form along with a sharpener.Bobbi Brown Art Stick Review Swatches PhotosShade – Bobbi Brown Art Stick Cherrywood is a deep wine shade. Its perfect color for winters/ fall, or for night outs. I like deeper shades and wear then during evening parties teamed up with sparkling eye makeup.

Texture & Formula – True to its claims, texture of Bobbi Brown Art Stick Cherrywood is very buttery. It glides on easily and keeps soft and moisturized. However after couple of hours you can see dry/ flaky skin on lips highlighted. Its a deeper color so it tends to set in those chapped areas. Formula doesn’t have any shimmer and finish is creamy. I have dry lips and I like this art stick for its moisturizing properties.Bobbi Brown Cherrywood Art Stick Review Swatches PhotosHand swatch is the true color, lip swatch is warmer than actual shade.

Pigmentation – Bobbi Brown Art Stick Cherrywood is sheer. Formula however can be built up to medium coverage. I have pigmented lips and I have to layer it 4-5 times on my lips to get an even coverage. No matter how much I tried , I couldn’t get full coverage out of this lipstick.

Staying Power – Bobbi Brown Art Stick Cherrywood stays on me for good 4+ hours with gradually fading. It doesn’t leave any tint or color behind.

Overall Thoughts

Bobbi Brown Art Stick can be used on lips & Cheeks (as shown by Bobbi Brown Makeup Artist Eliano) but not all the shades would work on cheeks. Formula of Art Sticks is very buttery and moisturizing. However Bobbi Brown Art Stick Cherrywood is pretty sheer and I need layering for even coverage. These art sticks are quite travel friendly since despite of being a creamy formula I haven’t seen any melting of product. Downsides of the product would be pigmentation & staying power.
