Who doesn’t like luxurious products for skin/ haircare ? I love ayurvedic products however due to sensititive skin not all the products work well for me. These natural ayurvedic products have herbs in their unadulterated potent form and are quite effective. I have been trying out two such products from a new luxury Ayurvedic brand called – Blue Nectar. The brand shared 3 of their best sellers with me and I will be reviewing Blue Nectar Shubhr Radiance Face Cleanser today.
All the Blue Nectar products come in blue cardboard boxes, which makes it look quite luxurious , unlike other brands that have all the products in shrink packaging. The color theme is blue and gold, which looks beautiful !
Blue Nectar Shubhr Face Cleanser comes with a separate pump in the box. The pump has a transparent cap, you can retain the original gold cap for travelling purposes. I really love skincare products with pump packaging, pretty easy to use and control the amount of product it dispenses. The pump dispenses small amount of Face cleanser each time and I need 2-3 pumps for my face & neck.
Now coming back to the Shubhr Face Cleanser, it is light yellow in color and has a beautiful scent. I really can’t put my finger as to what exactly it smells like, but it is very pleasant. I can very well compare it with Forest Essentials Safforn Face Cleanser. I really like when Ayurvedic products have a pleasant scent.
Shubhr means radiant. Face is the most attractive feature of human body. First step in Ayurvedic face care is to cleanse, tone and nourish the skin. Proper cleansing and toning is done by removing dead cells, clearing clogged pores, removing toxins & pollutants without stripping the skin of natural oils and moisture content.
It has 8 Vital hers like – Raw Honey, Mesua Ferrea Linn (Nagkesar), Hemidesmus indicus (Anantmool), Aloe barbadensis Mill (Aloe vera), Daucus carota var sativa (Gajar Beej), Rosa centifolia Linn (Gulab Ark)
I use it once daily and it cleanse my face without making it dry. Also it doesn’t irritate my skin in any way. It lathers up nicely and removes traces of dirt & oil from the skin’s surface. The product should suit all skintypes.
