I’m normally very scared to try out new face serums and creams and jinx the current state of calm – only for it to break out into a lot of acne.  I am relatively less worried about trying out new face washes.  For one, they are on your face for a relatively short period of time and therefore they cant really do much damage.  Secondly its easier for your skin to adjust to a new wash rather than an entirely new regimen often.

Packaging – The Biotique Bio Pineapple Face Cleanser comes in the standard white and green biotique bottle packaging.  It has a screw on lid and the face wash comes out of the nozzle as you gently nudge the bottle upside down.

Texture and Formula – The face wash is a light yellow shade (remember Halo shampoos anyone?).  The fragrance has a certain citrus twist to it, but I actually find the Bio Apple Shampoo also smells exactly the same.  And no, I certainly cant smell pineapples.

The Biotique Bio Pineapple is quite watery and runny.  You only need a really small amount for this to work, it lathers pretty well once you work it. Biotique Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Cleanser Review (3)My Experience

The Biotique Bio Pineapple Foaming Face Cleanser is for normal to oily skin, that matches my skin description, however I find it is far more moisturizing than my normal face wash.  It does a good job of cleansing but I would prefer something that is a little more effective at removing the oil from my skin.  I think this will work well in cooler weather.  Biotique Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Cleanser Review (1)

Overall Thoughts

Biotique Bio Pineapple Foaming Face Cleanser is a good face wash for people with normal skin, if you have really oily skin, please skip, it will not work for you.   I might use this in the winter or may hand it over to my mom.

I have combination-oily skin but the face wash did not control oil as mentioned, so never repurchased it
