Let’s find out what Biotique Bio Honey Water Clarifying Toner did for my skin. 
I like Biotique as they offer variety of skin and hair care products in pocket-friendly range. Though their hair care range do notfare my dry hair, some of their skin care items are always in my wishlist.
Today I am reviewing Biotique Bio Honey Water Clarifying Toner. We all know the importance of toner in basic skin care. Some toners provide deep cleansing actions while the other toners soothe and rehydrate the skin.
The first kind of toners often contain alcohol which eventually dries out your skin. So, I love the second kind of toners that have nourishing ingredients like aloe vera, witch hazel or hyaluronic acid.

Biotique Bio Honey Water Clarifying Toner is blended with Pure Honey, Aloe Vera, Manjishtha, Nutgalls, Carrot, Sandalwood, and the fresh waters found in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Packaging: This toner comes in a translucent and colourless plastic bottle. The deep green cap and tall cylindrical bottle are quite common in Biotique products.
The packaging is bulky; I always pour some product out in a smaller bottle that fits my travel pouch. It has no other sizes than this 120ml one.
Colour & Consistency: It looks pale pink in the bottle but it turns almost colourless when you take it out in small amount. The texture is watery and thin. The ingredients list only mentions the active ingredients.
It’s not possible to find out if this contains alcohol or not. But, the texture reminds me of alcohol based astringents.
Fragrance: It has a beautiful light floral fragrance. I know fragrances are not good for skin care products but I can’t help myself from loving this pleasant smell. The fragrance lasts for a few minutes only.
Quantity & Price: The toner is priced at Rs.175 and you get 120ml of product for that. As an affordable toner, the price seems okay. This is aften available at huge discounts. You can get it for Rs.150 or so.
My Overall Thoughts:
First things first, Biotique Bio Honey Water Clarifying Toner is a clarifying toner. That means, it will deep cleanse your skin, unclog pores and control oil.
The Honey water toner does all that to my skin. But, the formula gives a slight tingle and a light cooling sensation to my skin that an alcohol based toner provides.
The brand did not mention the inactives so I can’t be sure on that. The formula is not extremely stripping; my skin gets a light moisturizing effect from it. After using this the skin feels clean and oil-free.
The grease free feel lasts for a couple of hours and then the t-zone starts to get oily again.
I used it 3 months regularly. After using it for this many days I noticed certain things on my skin. The skin gets cleansed at first but then the oiliness comes back with doubled pace.
Some trouble areas of my combination skin gets red and sensitive quite easily and breakouts are taking time to heal.
I think my skin is not performing well with the clarifying nature of this toner. This skin situation occurs only when my skin’s pH balance gets disrupted. So, I stopped using this as my everyday toner.
I only use it before waxing my brows and shaving my face. It works really well as pre-wax skin soother.
