BeYu Strobe & Define Palette Review Swatches Photos

Finding a decent contour palette in India is a challenge for two reasons . Firstly there aren’t too many affordable options , secondly the contour shade is always red (in affordable brands). I was sent BeYu Strobe & Define Palette and have been testing it out ever since. BeYu is a german cosmetics brand, known for good quality products.

Packaging is simple cardboard palette with 4 powder pans inside. It has directions mentioned on the back and details of the products inside. You get one matte and one pearl strobing powder, a contouring powder & a blush. This is a perfect face palette to travel with.

Shades – The contour powder is a neutral tone brown which will be suitable for fair to medium skin tones. The matte strobing powder is good for setting makeup under the eyes since it is an off white soft powder that sets the concealer without drying the area. Pearl strobing powder is a perfect highlighter though I personally prefer more gold toned highlighters. Blush is very pretty peach-pink, that should compliment almost every body.

Texture & Formula – As you can tell from the swatches above , the powders have a smooth formulas. All the 4 blend really well. Contour powder is slightly hard in texture, though it blends with some efforts. Formula of blush & strobe matte powder is my favourite. Pearly highlighter is good to add light to the high points of your face , though it might look ashy on darker complexions.

None of them feel powdery or kick off during application. I am glad that except the pearl strobe powder rest 3 are matte.

Pigmentation – Both the contour & blush powders from BeYu Strobe & Define Palette show up really well on my skin tone. I have been using them in my makeup tutorials lately.

Staying Power – Good 6-7 hours on me.

Overall Thoughts

I am glad that finally I have a palette that is suitable for Indian skin tone. All the 4 powders in BeYu Strobe & Define Palette have smooth blendable formula. The palette is lightweight and easy to carry around.
