It is a historic day in a women’s life when she dares to wear those dark vampy bold colors of lipstick on her lips. We all remember on what occasion we chose to make our lips bold and with which brand lipstick you began the journey. I have a similar kind of memory with my Benefit Wild Card Full Finish Lipstick. This is my second tube. I repurchased after my first one expired.

Package: A glossy circular plastic tube in black with some white details. The typical twist up tube is of good quality with an equally good locking cap. The outer carton is to be highly appreciated. Unfortunately, I have discarded it.

Shade: Talking about Benefit Wild Card, it is one of its kind, and bright maroon red with brown tones. (Do I make any sense in explaining the color?! I am usually bad in defining lipstick colors. :-P). On the whole, it is a gorgeous color which can be on everybody’s liptick radar. It will suit almost all Indian skin tones.

Texture: Texture is something you will rave about once you begin using this particular lipstick. It is so smooth on lips; no tugging, no settling in the fine lines, no drying of lips. It gives a mild shine to the lips throughout its wear time.

For me, a lipstick should not dry out my lips or highlight the dryness. It is fine if the lipstick is not moisturizing, but giving the feel of dryness is a big NO. And this lipstick serves my conditions totally.

Staying power: The staying power of Benefit Wild Card lipstick is good too. Though it is not fully colored towards the end of the 4^th hour, it looks fully ravishing as long it is there.

I have no major complaints regarding its staying power. Even though fades it after few hours, it leaves decent amount of color traces on the lips. This guarantees that you still look complete in terms of makeup.

The only downside is its availability in India. Benefit make up lovers will have tough time getting hold of the products from overseas.
