This is a review on Benefit Big Easy BB Cream. I got it when it was newly launched and had a chance to try out a sample. I was impressed with the finish and hence got the full sized tube.
About Benefit Big Easy BB Cream
BIGGER than BB! big easy balances moisture & controls oil. The cushiony liquid-to-powder formula melts in like a cream, yet finishes lightweight & velvety like a powder.
This multi-balancing, oil-free complexion perfector gives natural coverage to even out skintone and conceal imperfections. Even better, the non-comedogenic formula contains ingredients known to soothe & comfort the skin and help fight free radicals.
- Protects with broad-spectrum SPF 35
- 97% said it balanced moisture & oil*
- 90% said it visibly smoothed & evened out skin texture*
Packaging – It comes in a travel friendly tube with a tiny nozzle that dispenses just the right amount you need.
Texture – It is neither runny nor thick, just the perfect texture you would need. It blends very easily with fingers.
My Experience:
I chose the darkest shade 06 Deep beige as it had strong yellow tones that I need. 05 is also yellow toned and a little lighter I believe. The BB cream has a tendency to oxidise so I would advice you to pick a shade lighter. Though 06 is a little too yellow for me (NC40 in MAC), after blending it looks very natural. It dries to a powder finish so you need not set it with a powder. It has become my go to BB cream after hating the ones that are available in India.
Benefit Big Easy BB Cream does not make the skin oily or greasy. It looks natural even after 4 hours. It also comes with an SPF. It provides light – medium coverage and hides any tiny acne scars and dark shadows under the eyes also. It also makes the skin look even and polished. One of the best BB creams I have tried.
Pros:
- Tube packaging
- Light-medium coverage
- Needs no setting powder
- Photographs well
- Non greasy
Cons:
- Only 6 shades available . so if you are above NC42, forget getting a match here.
- Oxidises after few hours
Benefit Big Easy BB Cream is priced at 40$ and available at Sephora Stores
Overall Thoughts
Though the Benefit Big Easy BB Cream has its own cons, I still suggest it if you are willing to spend so much on a high end BB cream. The finish is smooth and silky which I have not got in any Indian BB cream. I will be purchasing shade 05 once I run out of this.

The packaging is very cute and quirky! But that oxidizing problem seems to be a huge disappointment. 🙁

The liquid to powder formula sounds interesting. Also has SPF 35 which is a huge bonus. Would love to try it out…
