Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder (Rs 670 for 3 oz) available at CamerareadycosmeticsBen Nye Banana Powder Review (1)Ben Nye Banana Powder Review (2)“Ben Nye Luxury Powders provide superior matte and subtle finishing. Often compared to French powders with silky-fine textures. the Ben Nye Bella line of powders are translucent with just a hint of color.”

Shade – Ben Nye Luxury Powder comes in 4 shades. I have picked Banana. Its a yellow colored finely milled powder. Banana will suit variety of complexions, however this shade would look light on medium to deeper skin tones if used as an all over powder.Ben Nye Banana Powder Review (3)Texture & Formula – Ben Nye has aptly described the formula. Its such a finely milled powder that once blended it just disappears in the skin. I use Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder to set my undereye concealer. It keeps the under eye are matte and prevents concealer from creasing. Formula has a glowy finish, though I can’t see presence of shimmer or glitter in the powder. It makes under eye area brighter and smoother. Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder photographs well. I don’t really apply this as an all over setting powder because it makes my skin dry. This powder can be a great option for those with combination to oily skin. Due to its yellow color it doesn’t look ashy or grey.Ben Nye Banana Powder Review (4)You can choose a darker or lighter shade based on your preference or complexion. Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder is the most popular shade used to set under eye concealer.

Only downside is the packaging. Its too basic. You can see large holes on the top of the bottle. I have put tape on all of the holes leaving one open and its more than enough to get right amount of product. I take some product out in the cap and swirl my brush in it and apply whatever brush picks up. I use it sparingly as it does dry out my under eye area and highlights wrinkles.

Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder is available in Mumbai or can be purchased online.

Overall Thoughts

I really like Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder to set under eye concealer. I use it to set my foundation on humid days only otherwise it tends to make my skin dry. I love how it instantly brightens up the area and doesn’t look chalky or grey. Due to its finely milled texture it doesn’t look cakey whatsoever. I will highly recommend this product to those who struggle with creasing of undereye concealer.
