Choose from 5 fabulous shades.”I always wanted to try products from Beautyuk so when the other day I spotted some of the products on sale at Goodlife.com, I didn’t think twice before placing an order, but now I can’t find it there. Beautyuk Royal Rose Baked Blush was on sale and I got this one for Rs 313. I don’t know why the one I received has a card board packaging with an inbuilt mirror, because when I search it online I can see these baked blushes in regular round plastic packaging !

Shade – Beautyuk Royal Rose Baked Blush is a beautiful deep rosy pink with hints of red color. I loved how this can be worn sheer and can be built up for an intense color. I love sheer colors whether its a blush or lipstick, that way chances of going OTT would be next to impossible. I wear it sheer during the day. Texture & Formula – I was really glad to see that unlike most of the Baked Blushes Beautyuk Royal Rose wasn’t loaded with shimmers. It has a satiny finish that looks amazing once applied. Texture is soft and it glides on pretty easily on me, whether I am wearing makeup or not. Formula is pretty sheer but like I mentioned above, sheerer formulas are my preference.

Pigmentation – Beautyuk Royal Rose is sheer however intensity can be build by layering up the color. You can wear it sheer during the day and intensify the color by layering. As per Beautyuk website, these baked blushes can be worn wet for better color payoff but that’s not my preferred way of wearing Royal Rose.Staying Power – On bare skin it stayed on for good 4 hours , on foundation it stays on for 5+ hours.

Overall Thoughts

I don’t have any complaints with the product except the availability. Beautyuk Royal Rose Baked Blush is a beautiful color that will suit Indian complexion. Fair girls can wear single swipe and deeper complexions can layer the color to intensify. It has right amount of pearlescent finish that gives a subtle glow to the cheeks. I would love to buy more shades once they are restocked.
