Packaging: I love the packaging of this product – once you get rid of the outer cardboard box, you will find a black tube with “bareMinerals” written on it, and right below that, you would see a silver button. Press the button and slide it down and the lipstick tube come out easily. The lipstick tube is quite travel-friendly.

Shade: BareMinerals Live Large is the shade I selected from the 20 colors available. I was quite determined after I saw the shade description “berry rose”, and that fits the lipstick perfect. It has no shimmers on glitters on it, just a creamy shade of dark berry pink. It is a great shade for Indian skin tone, and would suit virtually any complexion, whether light or dark.

Product Texture and Pigmentation: BareMinerals Live Large Marvelous Moxie Lipstick  scores hugely here – the texture is super creamy – so much so that you would feel the product literally melting on your lips. It glides on my lips easily, and one swipe makes it opaque. The lip and hand swatches I took were after a single swipe, which shows how intensely pigmented this is. The pigmentation is fantastic and the lipstick covers any dark spots on my lips effortlessly. It also makes my lips look plumper, and the finish is shiny, but it does not bleed or feather. It also does not dry out my lips at all. Rather, this is the other way round – it hydrates my lips and makes them look great.

Lasting Power: BareMinerals Live Large Marvelous Moxie Lipstick stays on my lips easily for 5-6 hours, although the shine leaves after 2 hours or so, leaving a rich berry tint which is quite nice to look at, I daresay. If I eat or drink, this fades unevenly, and also transfers slightly, so be careful to touch up afterwards, but then again, the company never made any long-lasting claim.

Overall Thought:

I am very pleased with this range of lipsticks – from an innovative packaging to great choices in shades which is suited to a huge number of skin tone, BareMinerals Live Large Marvelous Moxie Lipstick is definitely great for those who love colors and hydration at the same time. The Marvelous Moxie range is something I would buy again from, and I love the finish and texture.
