Bad Habit After Dark Eye Shadow Palette Review Swatches Photos

I love doing eye makeup and trying different looks. In my opinion warm toned makeup suits me the most – orange, red, brown etc. Now finding a good eyeshadow palette which has good pigmentation and right selection of shades is a bit of a challenge. Couple of days ago I asked on my Instagram about favorite palettes of my followers there. A lot of them suggested Bad Habit Palettes. Now this is a new brand to me but it seems there were a lot of people using it already. In india the brand isn’t available however you can but it from Instagram sellers. One of them sent me Bad Habit After Dark Eye Shadow Palette for review & features. 

Bad Habit After Dark Eye Shadow Palette is made of cardboard with a magnetic lid. It also comes with a good size mirror. The palette has 9 shades. Its quire light weight and good for travel. Unlike other eyeshadow palettes this one doesn’t come with any brush or applicator. This palette costs 10$ and one of the 4 palettes from After Collection.

Shades – After Dark has warm range of reds, rusty browns, and oranges and honestly thats what attracted me the most. I don’t have any palette with such warm shades that too in matte finish. Out of 9 one is shimmer (gold) rest all are matte. The colors show up on me pretty well and are quite beautiful and vivid.

Texture & formula – Surprisingly despite of being matte none of shade feels chalky or powdery upon swatches or on the eyes. I didn’t have any trouble blending them on the eyes without a primer. With a good primer all the shades would pop more. I creates a warm smokey eye makeup with these colors and the look turned out quite gorgeous. The shimmer gold shade has a creamy consistency and gave me no fall outs at all.

Overall I am quite happy with the formula, texture & blendability of Bad Habit After Dark Eye Shadow Palette eyeshadows. The colors are beautiful and suitable for indian skin tone. Only challenge is the availability since you can either buy them online (from international websites) or via Instagram sellers.
