Avon Ultra Color Bold Lipsticks (Rs 359)
Avon is one brand that keeps coming up with new products in their makeup/ skincare line every month. This time they have launched 15 shades under their Avon Ultra Color Bold Lipstick range and I have got 4 of them to test and review for you all.
Avon Ultra Color Bold Lipstick comes in regular black casing with a pink band around the middle of the case. Formula is the same as the usual Ultra Color lipsticks.
Shades – I have 4 shades
- Coral Burst – True coral color with gold flecks.
- Fearless Fuchsia – Blue Toned Light Blue
- Ruby Shock – Ruby Red
- Sangria Shock – Plum based Purple
Texture & Formula – Avon Ultra Color Bold Lipstick have a smooth and buttery texture that glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling. None of them except Coral Burst have any shimmer, even the shimmer in that shade isn’t much visible. Rest all 3 shades – Sangria Shock, Fearless Fuchsia & Ruby Shock are very creamy and without shimmer. Formula feels moisturizing and doesn’t settle in fine lines. However due to its creaminess the color definitely moves out of lip lines. Finish is creamy which turns into semi-matte finish after a while.
My mouth area looks ashy in Ruby Shock swatch because I applied a powder with spf in it. Well Ruby Shock on the other hand is much more deeper than what it appears in the lip swatch.
Pigmentation – Avon Ultra Color Bold Lipsticks are amazingly pigmented and all you would need is single swipe on the lips and any pigmentation or discolouration would be immediately covered. My favorite shades are Ruby Shock & Sangria Shock since both of them compliment medium-deeper skin tone.
Staying Power– Avon Ultra Color Bold Lipsticks stay on me for good 3-4 hours. Darker colors stay on for a longer time than lighter shades.
Only thing that I find mundane is the color selection. I always find same colors in all of the new launches. I sorely miss some good neutral everyday shades and would love to see few of them in the next launches.

Avon Ultra Color Bold Lipsticks offer amazing quality at affordable prices. I personally love Avon’s nail enamels. lipsticks and skincare products. This new range offers great color pay off, 15 dazzling shades to choose from and of course all of this without breaking your bank.
