Shade – Avon Lip Crayon Showstopper Pink is a blue based bright pink color. Its not a shade that I would wear on daily basis , but it can work for night outs. Color is pretty bright but doesn’t look unpleasant on me. Formula has pink purple glitters.
Texture & Formula – Showstopper Pink has soft and creamy formula. It has a lot of shimmer that feels slightly gritty during application. I find the formula quite moisturizing and not slippery. It has right consistency hence it doesn’t move out of lip line. When I try to even out the color by pressing my lips together, I can feel those chunky & coarse glitter particles, and that surely isn’t pleasant. Color wears off leaving all the glitter behind, something I dislike.
Pigmentation – Avon Lip Crayon Showstopper Pink provides medium to opaque finish. It is easy to layer and evens out lips pretty nicely.
Staying Power – It has quite impressive staying power. On my lips it stays on for good 4+ hours and leaves a strong berry tint behind. I like how it doesn’t leave my lips completely bare at the end of the day. The stain stays on for pretty long time.
Overall Thoughts
Avon Lip Crayon has nice moisturizing formula with medium to opaque finish. However chunky & gritty glitters are a deal breaker for me. Also the price is a bit too steep in my humble opinion.
