Avon Ideal Luminous Cashmere Advanced Foundation Review

Avon Ideal Luminous Cashmere Advanced Foundation (Rs 699 for 25g) can be purchased from Avon Representatives.

I got a chance to try this foundation which is recently launched by Avon.

A word on this foundation- ‘Defies detection from any angle. Blurs imperfections and provides a luminous finish. Minimizes the look of pores. Appropriate for all skintones. Has Opti-light Technology that gives brightness and clarity. Shine free for up to 10 hours.’

Shade – Out of the 2 shades, I have the shade Nude which suits my skin tone very well. It is very light yellow tone and leans more to neutral side . However, the shade suits my NC 35 skin tone very well and brightens it.

Packaging – Avon Ideal Luminous Cashmere Advanced Foundation comes in a squeeze tube packaging having a nozzle to dispense out the product. It is convenient and hygienic to use. It is sturdy and travel friendly. The shade name is provided at the back of the packaging.

Texture & Formula-The consistency of Avon Ideal Luminous Cashmere Advanced foundation is neither liquidy nor mousse like. It is somewhere in between. The formula is not runny neither too dense. It is light weight and blends seamlessly. The foundation has very minute, undetectable shimmer in it for brightening purpose which does add a bit of luminosity to face after few minutes of application. It provides semi-dewy finish to face. It has mild fragrance that isn’t very bothering and disappears after a few seconds.The formula is enriched with SPF 15 which offers protection to your skin. It didn’t break me out neither clog pores.

Coverage/Pigmentation-  Avon Ideal Luminous Cashmere Advanced foundation offers sheer to buildable medium coverage. It will even out the skin tones and brighten up the face in one layer. But for redness and pigmentation marks, you need a second layer.It doesn’t look cakey or feel heavy even after 3 layers. I feel my skin becomes soft after I apply this foundation and it blurs pores to some extent. However, the foundation won’t cover major scars and acnes.

Staying Power- I have used Avon Ideal Luminous Cashmere Advanced foundation for maximum 8 hours and my face looked fresh. It does oxidise a bit after 5 hours.

Overall Thoughts

I have tried the earlier cashmere foundation and I am highly impressed by the newer version. The formula, bendability and the consistency is amazing. I find Avon Ideal Luminous Cashmere Advanced Foundation great for daily wear as it is light weight and doesn’t look cakey. The shade is a great match and my skin feels soft. This foundation is suitable for all skin types as the finish is not overly dewy. It just adds a healthy glow to face and brightens it up. Highly recommended foundation.
