What impressed me the most is the fact that ‘Auravedic Pure Lightening Sandal Turmeric Skin Polish’ is free of Parabens, SLS and harmful chemicals.. Who wants to layer their faces with chemicals?

Auravedic Pure Lightening Sandal Turmeric Skin Polish comes in plastic tub, which i found a bit fragile specially the lid. That doesn’t make it ideal for travelling as one fall on the floor can break the jar or crack it.

The texture if this scrub is neither runny nor thick. It spreads on the face easily and thus little amount is sufficient. I have been using it for more than 2 weeks now, thrice a week and still have so much product left, that means little goes a long way. How I use it

I use this scrub after thoroughly cleaning my face. Exfoliate entire face gently and leave it as a mask for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

It doesn’t leave a slippery feel behind and washes away easily. I am not a big fan of its fragrance which is herbal, but thank fully it goes away the moment you wash it off.The scrub particles feel like soft beads and do not feel abrasive at all. Skin feels and looks fresh after every use. It gently removes flaky and dead cells. However I love scrubs packed with granules like Giovanni D:tox Scrub so that I could feel them on my skin while scrubbing. I skip face mask after this as it works as a mask as well and leaves skin hydrated and glowing. The glow is noticeable but unfortunately it doesn’t stay on for long.

The only negative is that contrary to its claims it does nothing for skin pigmentation. I don’t have major skin pigmentation but a small patch on my nose was enough to test. I haven’t seen it getting any lighter or fading away.

4. An excellent exfoliator for dry skin as it doesn’t leaves skin stretchy and parched

1. Doesn’t lightens skin pigmentation
2. The Glow it leaves is temporary

Overall Thoughts

If you love ayurvedic formulations and a gentle exfoliator, this product may end your search. Its Free of Parabens, SLS and harmful chemicals which is what all of us need. It leaves skin smooth, soft and glowing however the glow doesn’t last forever. Although its claim of lightening skin pigmentation hasn’t worked for me.
