Aroma Magic Coffee Bean Scrub (Rs 375 for 100 ml) available at FlipkartEvery time I walk past a coffee store, the kind that sells the beans not the drink, I find some excuse to walk around and sniff those exhilarating aromas for just a little bit longer.  Its an understatement to say, I love coffee.

Aroma Magic

This is a brand that’s 100% free of chemicals, alcohol, parabens, phthalates, sulphates, and artificial colouring and fragrance.   Definitely something I would love to try.   The coffee bean scrub is for both face and body and the directions for use suggest you scrub and then leave on for about 10 minutes for it to work its magic.Texture and Formula

Aroma Magic Coffee Bean Scrub is a very light brown colour.  The texture is extremely runny, so be careful whilst getting some out.  I actually got a whole lot on my hands when all I wanted was a really tiny bit to check what its like.  There are really tiny darker brown particles that are few and not very harsh.  The particle density is not very high and so its not very abrasive.  The formula boasts of lemon grass, grapefuit, and juniper berry essential oils and olive oil and shea butter.  Its very obvious on reading this, that the scrub is highly moisturizing.

Even though it feels runny at first, you realize it’s great since you can spread it all over with ease.  A little goes a long way.  I did try to keep it on for 10 minutes, but I felt 5 were more than enough and washed it off.   My face and body felt extremely moisturized after a single use.

My skin is oily and I know I cant use this that often on my face.  But those of you with dry to normal skin will love it.

Fragrance

An important point when you claim the scrub is made of coffee.  Well, there is a very very mild latte type, milk coffee fragrance.  It stays only as long as you have the scrub on.  Its gone the minute you wash it off.   I actually wish Aroma Magic Coffee Bean Scrub did have a bit more of a lingering fragrance, would have loved to “smell the coffee!”

Overall Thoughts

Hard working and well priced, if you like the smell of coffee, you must pick Aroma Magic Coffee Bean Scrub up.  This will work really well on dry skin and is just as great for face as it is for body.  Given that I have oily skin I may restrict the use on my face though.   For the price point, I will definitely be picking this up again.
