The Body Shop Amazonian Saviour Multi-Purpose Balm Review

For me winters is like never ending season of dry scaly flaky skin. There are few areas on my body that definitely need much more attention and I have to apply moisturiser atleast twice everyday. The areas like hands, ankles, elbows & knees need more moisture than rest of the body, some of them tend to have this dry rough texture as well. I don’t prefer using Vaseline petroleum Jelly for obvious reasons. I am glad that The Body Shop launched Amazonian Saviour Multi-Purpose Balm recently. The product is definitely comes across as a saviour.

My Experience –

The balm looks like solidified coconut oil, and melts once you rub your fingers over it. It melts into this smooth oil and applies very easily on the skin. I mostly use it on my ankles that tend to get really dry & crusty. I apply it after bath and then wear socks to keep the moisture in.

You can also apply it on cuticles if you are someone like me who does a lot of household chores and get dry cuticles. It nourishes them and after regular use you will notice the difference. The formula gets absorbed into the skin without making it greasy or sticky which is why it works really well as a hand balm. It has soothing & reviving properties and natural ingredients make it suitable for everyone.

The balm is also good for those with tattoos as it claims to revive them. I don’t have any so can’t comment on its efficacy there.
