Who doesn’t want a day of pampering & rejuvenation? Well sometime life gets crazy you get caught up in hectic schedule, become a robot, forget to relax and end up with muscle pain and stress. That’s why I love regular spa sessions because for once I get a chance to get pampered and be treated like a queen, leaving all the stress and fatigue behind.Amaltas Spa By l’occitane is a luxury spa, L’occitane’s first Spa in NCR, which is situated at Anya Hotel Gurgaon. As of now this is the only branch/spa they have in Delhi, however there are around 6-7 Amaltas Spas across India and a little birdie told me that there will be another one opening soon around Qutab area, which will a blessing for those who don’t like travelling all the way to Gurgaon.

Amaltas Spa By Loccitane – Single Room

I was invited for a complimentary session and believe me the moment I stepped in , the sunny yellow colored theme instantly calmed down my senses. I had a tiring day and the spa’s atmosphere was quite invigorating. I was greeted by one of the masseurs/therapist and she quickly got me a pair of bamboo slippers, I removed my shoes in no time and placed them back in the same tray. Then she showed me the menu with all the services the spa offers and after knowing about my concerns she recommended

She then offered a welcome drink which was little spicy, she added some mint & lemon to enhance the flavors. After that she took me through the entire spa showing rooms etc. There are 2 couple & 2 single rooms, each with a separate steam/bath cubicle, something I always prefer. Couple rooms have big bath tubs too.

Contrary to most of the spas I have visited before were lights indoors were kept dim/low, Amaltas Spa by Loccitane has quite bright & cheerful interiors, infact the spa was nicely lit.

Session started with a foot ritual and then therapist asked me to take 5 minute steam. Session started with a blend of aromatic oils which had flower extracts/oils. It has become a habit/routine and I fell asleep during the spa session, always. This time it happened when the therapist was working her magic on my legs, it instantly made me all sleepy and only after being called by her “Twice” I opened my eyes.

Once the session was over, I was asked to take steam again and then I took quick bath. Room had drier which I always appreciate, since I mostly get my head massaged too, and can’t do without washing them before leaving the spa.

Overall Experience at Amaltas Spa By l’occitane was really quite good and I enjoyed the session & services thoroughly.
