What is a vacation without a spa session ? I love spa, well all of us do right? Last week during my stay at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh I grabbed the opportunity of experiencing a relaxing spa session at Amaira Spa.
Before starting the session I was asked to fill a form about my health, any issues I am facing and the areas I would like the masseur to focus on. I was pretty much relaxed because of the vacation, but who doesn’t like a good back massage ? I ticked upper back.
Upon entering the room you can experience the calm & soothing vibes. The bed was placed the the centre of the room, I guess the mattress was with heated pads. The bed itself was quite big and comfortable.
The attendant asked me to change into disposable lingerie. The spa room has attached washroom, bath/steam room& cupboard. I love when spa has steam cubicles within them.So that you don’t have to walk a mile after a relaxing massage.
She asked me to take steam for 5 minutes before starting the spa session. I chose relaxing therapy which went perfectly with the vacation. The oil used for the therapy was a mix of rose & geranium oils, not to miss the divine smell of it ! Rose scented oils are my preference.
The masseur asked if the lighting and choice of music was good, I love soft trans music or chants while in spa, the music was perfect. She covered me with a sheet & spread a tool over it. I was glad that she didn’t leave me shivering with just a towel on the top, small things matter, atleast to me they do.
Massage was nice, gentle and relaxing. I fall asleep numerous times during that 90 mins session. Loved it to bits. I requested her for a head massage and she gave me the most relaxing one ever. By the time she finished the session I was both sleepy & starved. A nice long hot shower made my day !
Spa session at Amaira Spa Hyatt regency Chandigarh was one of the most amazing spa sessions I have ever experienced. Right from the spa room, the comfortable bed & the therapy everything was 10/10. Highly recommended.
