9 Lakme 9To5 Primer Matte Lipstick Swatches Review Photos

Lakme 9To5 range is pretty popular and good quality. The packing and formula both are long lasting and perfect for office goers who don’t want to do touch ups every now and then. The latest addition to this range is Lakme 9To5 Primer Matte Lipstick. 

Living up to its name, the new Lakmé 9to5 Primer+ Matte lipsticks have an inbuilt primer that form the perfect base to get even strokes of colour. An absolute must for every working woman who wants to look confident, poised and gorgeous without having to touch up multiple times a day! With working hours getting longer, these lipsticks are the perfect solution. The In built primer allows the lipsticks to look flawless and matte for 12 HOURS NON-STOP.

The package is a real stunner, rose gold sleep metal cases. The cap shuts tightly and doesn’t come off easily. The bullet has a blunt tip which isn’t my most favourite style to be honest.

Shades – There are 30 shades in Lakme 9To5 Primer Matte Lipsticks range which is a pretty impressive number. You will find shades ranging from pinks to corals to bright reds. One thing I have observed in this as well as previous Lakme 9To5 lipsticks is the shade range is more geared towards mature women, I mean 30+,  since most of the shades are quite dark and brown toned. I personally like bright and fun shades although they aren’t the best choice for office/ work wear. I have 9 shades with me today.

Texture & Formula – Now true to brand’s claims these lipsticks are matte and comfortable. I like extreme mattes because of their good staying power but Lakme 9To5 Primer Matte Lipsticks are long wearing without being drying. The texture is smooth & glides on easily without tugging or pulling. I like how they feel comfortable throughout the wear.

Pigmentation – Most of the shades are well pigmented and one swipe is enough to deposit color.

Staying Power : Now I don’t see them lasting on me for 12 hours (as per the brand’s claims) however they do stay on for good 6+ hours.
