Feeling of a fresh exfoliation is amazing but who said you need to visit salon for proper exfoliation? You can treat your skin beautifully at home using some DIY homemade face scrubs. Today I will share some amazing face scrubs for people with dry skin. Scrubs are extremely essential to get rid of dry, dead, damaged and flaky skin. One should scrub two times a week and not more than that. Dry skin needs proper exfoliation so that the scrub doesn’t make skin drier. Here are some effective face scrubs that will not only exfoliate your skin but will also hydrate and nourish them:

Sea Salt and Lemon Scrub: Sea salt has the capability to push all the toxins out of your skin which eventually gives you smooth silky silk. If you have dry skin then you can make your sea salt scrub easily at home. Take one cup sea salt, one tablespoon lemon juice and one cup olive oil, mix everything well. You can also use 2-3 drops of essential oil like lavender oil or grapefruit oil. Mix everything well and use it on your face, neck and even on arms. This scrub will not only remove dead skin but will also even out your skin tone.

Banana Rice Scrub: Banana is a natural moisturizer and it repairs dull dry damaged skin immediately. You can make banana scrub to exfoliate dry skin at home easily. Take one ripe banana, 2-3 tablespoon uncooked rice, 3 tablespoon milk and 1 tablespoon honey. Blend all the ingredients in a blender to form a coarse mixture, don’t blend it too much. Exfoliate your face using this scrub and rinse with warm water. Repeat it twice a week and this scrub will not only remove dead skin but it will also tighten your skin.

Oats and Honey Scrub: oats rejuvenates dry, dead and itchy skin so it acts as a wonderful exfoliator for dry skin beauties. Take 3 tablespoon of oats; add one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of olive oil. Take a grinder and put the three ingredients. Grind them all so that oats are broken a bit but make sure the mixture doesn’t turn too thin, the consistency should be between thick and thin. Apply this scrub on clean skin and massage your skin for 1-2 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. This scrub will exfoliate your skin, remove dryness, prevent itching and will also nourish your face.

Avocados and Honey: Avocados are very good for dry skin because they deeply penetrate into skin and restore its moisture. Using it as exfoliator can keep your skin supple and glowing. Take ripe avocado mash it up and put it in a bowl. Now take 2 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, 2 tablespoon of oats and one tablespoon of honey. Mix everything well and use this scrub to exfoliate your face. it will remove dry skin without stripping moisture.

Tomato Scrub: Take one tomato and cut it into two halves. Take one piece of the tomato, put honey all over it and then dip it into honey. Use this tomato halves to scrub your face and neck gently in circular motion for 5-7 minutes. Repeat with both the tomato halves and say hello to smooth silky exfoliated skin. Repeat it twice a week if you have pigmented skin as it reduces pigmentation too. Tomato will also keep your skin nourished thus its ideal for people with dry skin.
