Hydrogen Peroxide & Baking Soda
In a bowl, mix about 3 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. This mixture forms a bubbled paste.
Apply the prepared mixture on top of your nails. Also cover the portion beneath your nails. Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes and rinse off. Repeat if needed.

Cut a lemon into half or thin slices. Directly rub it on the nails and also beneath. Lemon being a natural astringent strips away the stains and brightens up the nails giving a remarkable difference.
You can leave it overnight and wash away the next morning.
Lemon & Baking Soda Nail Scrub
In a bowl, collect about 2-3 tea spoon of lemon juice. Add baking soda little by little until you form an abrasive paste like structure.
Now, using a soft baby brush, apply the mixture and scrub mildly concentrating on the corners and beneath the nails.
This will uplift the unwanted discoloration causing layer on the nails, fade the stains caused due to nail polish and whiten nails.
Prevent discoloration by using base coat
Prevention is the best method of resolving the issue of stained nails. Use a top quality base coat on your nails before applying pigmented nail polishes. By applying atleast 2 layers of basecoat you will be able to avoid stains on your nails altogether.
