5 Best Ways To Dress Up For A Date

The weather is a constant battle between hot sultry days and warm, windy and cloudy days. For many will agree this is the perfect time to go on dates before the sun takes full control and makeup meltdowns start embarrassing us. Here are 5 Best Ways To Dress Up For A Date the easy way:

Best Ways To Dress Up For A Date

Consider short/midi dresses for brunches: Since the heat is rising, midi dresses are perfect to take you high on comfort and fashion. Ombre is the new trend and midi dresses in light to dark ombre shades are very soothing to the eyes. Pair up with gladiator flats, carry a satchel, tie your hair in a pony and let your glossy pouts transfix your date!

Pro tip: If you feel your dress/skirt is too short, wear black see-through stockings beneath and instead of a gladiator, put on kitten heels.

Peplum tops and ankle-length jeans: This outfit is perfect for girls who are gradually attaining womanhood. It is childish yet classy and adds a touch of confidence to the whole ensemble. Do a loose side braid, wear a dangler earrings, a pair of oversized glares and ta da! Also you may wear pencil skirts beneath peplum tops but according to me it looks a lot classy and hence apt for business timeouts.

Drop dresses with layering: Drop dresses are quite in fashion. And the fact that it comes with frills below the waistline makes it perfect for the summer. Layer it with thin jackets and cross your sling bag over it or just wear it alone for your date. Dark colours are perfect for the night and light colours for the day. Keep your makeup minimal and hop off with ankle length boots.

Little black dress

The Little Black Dress: Night outs or evening outs give us the freedom to wear dark colours and of course what could be better than our favourite LBD? Although I believe red is the perfect colour to wear on a date as red compliments every single woman out there and of course it is the color of love! And then again dark brown, deep plum or dark navy dresses do the job well too so if you would like to experiment and skip black, these options are just as fine. Since this look is all about elegance, you can go for a soft smokey eye and a nude lip. Wear a pair of drop danglers, a thin shiny bracelet and carry a bling clutch to finish your look.

The ethnic evergreen dressing: What can be better than your fat, all encompassing patiala with the mini kameez and never ending dupatta? Nothing! And what is your ethnic junk box for if you do not get to wear the heavy metals on your date? Wear your favourite salwar kameez with heavy jhumkas, heavily kohled eyes and the perfect smile. After all who can beat ethnic dressing when we are only too sure that it is going to look best on us!
