Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish Review

A body polish or scrub is a must have during winters. Its up to you whether you want to buy one or prepare at home. I used to prepare one by mixing finely milled rice powder (flour) with milk cream. but since i have a kid, i don’t really get time to prepare that these days. I bought Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish from Sephora and have used it couple of times. Here is my experience..

Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish comes in a 50 ml tub and if I divide the cost (i bought bestsellers pack for Rs 1600 which has 5 products in it), it costs me around 310 INR. Where as full tub (300ml) costs around 1000 (i guess) .. which is way too much to spend on a body scub! I believe this retails for £7-8 in other countries :/

Key Ingredients
Sea Salt
Sugar
Shea Butter
Sweet Almond Oil
Peach Seed Powder

Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish is fully packed with scrub particles, so small quantity is enough to get the job done. I use it mostly on my hands, legs and back. If you keep on scrubbing in circular motions, the granules dissolve and disappear, but yes you have to keep scrubbing for a long time.

It removes dull& flaky skin efficiently. I could feel softer and smoother skin after each use.

The fragrance is floral and i love how it stays on for hours! Negative area would be price, which is almost double and isn’t justified as this is not a miracle product.. It can be compared to regular body scrubs. Also availability of this product will be an issue.

Although I am happy with Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Polish still I may not buy the full size due to high price.

Sephora has hiked the prices for Indian consumers i guess 🙁 .. I’d rather stick to my homemade sugar, oil and lemon juice as a body scrub and will buy some nice makeup product from there 😀

This ain’t fair! We in India always pay more for everything 🙁 But oh well, how I wish to lay my hands on Sephora stuff 🙁
Anyways it seems like a good product if you consider the entire package na? 🙂
