Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream Review Swatches Photos

BB Creams have been one of the most talked about products this year. First it was from Maybelline now Deborah Milano has launched 5 in 1 BB cream. When I saw that Deborah has launched BB Cream, i started searching for it crazily. Finally I spotted a Deborah counter at a Mall and got shade 04 Apricot. Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream – Rs 350

As per Deborah Milano (Excerpt taken from Deborah website)

5-in-1 BB CREAM, a skin perfecting, all-in-one foundation with a multi-performance formula:
1. first it smoothes and primes skin;
2. then it conceals and minimizes imperfections;
3. evens out skin tone,
4. moisturizes and nourishes skin,
5. and protects it against UV radiation and pollution.
Featuring a multi-function formula, beauty balm offers skin a host of benefits plus perfect skin in just one product. Hypoallergenic*, with a delicate violet scent.
SPF20 for effective protection from photoageing.

Deborah has called its 5 in 1 BB Cream a ‘Skin perfector foundation’. The BB Cream provides sheer coverage. Texture is neither thick nor runny which makes application easy.

I liked the texture and coverage. Deborah Milano BB Cream has spf (20) perfect to wear during daytime when you are going out and don’t want to add layers of sunscreen and foundation. However the coverage may not please girls with dark spots, discoloration or pigmentation.

I layered it up a bit under my eyes to hide the puffiness/ darkness and it looked fine. 04 Apricot has rosy undertones whereas my skin has yellow undertones, it looked as if the product was visible/sitting on my face, didn’t blend in completely with my skin tone. I would have appreciated a couple of shades with yellow undertones :/

Deborah has suggested to layer it up for better coverage, but it looked ashy when i layered it :/

Due to SPF it doesn’t work well for flash photography. Face looks ghastly white 😛

I have dry skin and it doesn’t moisturize my skin enough to feel comfortable wearing it a good moisturizer underneath. My face feels a bit stretchy/dry after application.

It doesn’t make skin shiny or greasy throughout the day. Staying power is good, it stays on me for 5+ hours and then disappeared.

I might buy the darkest shade and mix both together to see if I could get the shade matching my skin tone. I could see that Amber (05) had yellow undertones but was bit dark for me.

I couldn’t check its Pore Minimizing claims as I don’t have visible pores on my face.

Are all the claims true?

First it smoothes and primes skin; – Yes, Skin feels smooth
then it conceals and minimizes imperfections; – Not really, provides sheer coverage
evens out skin tone, – to an extent
moisturizes and nourishes skin, – not moisturizing enough fro dry skin
protects it against UV radiation and pollution. – It has spf 20

Overall Thoughts

If you find right match to your skin tone, do buy this product. It is a good alternative to foundation and feels light on skin. Oily skin girls gonna love it as it keeps skin oil-free/ shine-free whole time, however dry skin girls need to moisturize skin intensely before its application. Product’s shelf life is 2 years.

Ratings : 3.5

P.S. I keep on squeezing the tube to take out the product but the tube feels half empty (like Lays chips packets)

    Okay expected better coverage minus the ashy, white cast…coz their foundies come in the range of 400-500, and a quite a few of them are really good as I have heard.
