KAMA Ayurveda Rose & Jasmine Facial Cleanser

I am using couple of products from this brand for past couple of weeks. Today I am reviewing KAMA Ayurveda Rose & Jasmine Facial Cleanser – 50ml – Rs 275

Though many brands draw on Ayurvedic ingredients, Kama Ayurveda creates the complete natural remedy. Their international-standard products are not tested on animals.

I received Kama Ayurveda Facial Cleanser in press kit and have been using it daily for over 2 weeks now. This is a travel size bottle with a pump and a transparent cap which covers it.

I have to use 2 pumps minimum as the pump dispenses very small quantity. It doesn’t lather up much but does clean up face very well. It takes away non-waterproof makeup, dirt or oil. The best part is my face feels squeaky clean with no slippery feel afterwards.

Texture – Its a clear fluid, which is pretty runny and smells herbal/ Ayurvedic. I find the fragrance very refreshing somehow similar to Organic Surge Face Wash.

It neither rips of moisture from skin nor gives that stretchy feeling. I don’t feel like applying any moisturizer after it for hours.

Quantity is fine as even after using 2 full pumps, there is still enough product left to be used for couple of more weeks.

The downsides would be

Price as spending Rs 275 on 50 ml of product would hold many people back from trying it. But if you love to treat your skin with pureness, spending wouldn’t be much of an issue.

Availability its available on selected stores and at their flagship store in Delhi. They haven’t introduced online shopping on their website yet.

Its not soap free and had Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate.

Overall Thoughts

I loved the product and pretty happy with the results. I might not repurchase it instead would love to try their famous soap free cleanser this time. If you love to treat your skin with authentic ayurvedic products do try it out.
